Repairs and Minor Capital Works

Minor breakdowns, plumbing problems, electrical faults and small jobs such as coat hooks, window breakages etc. should be referred directly to FM Engineering Services.

• For urgent after-hours work requests contact UC Security.
• For urgent work requests during normal working hours contact Engineering Services ext 6400.

Requests for structural alterations, floor and window coverings should be made on a Works Request Form (PDF, 12 KB) (DOC, 28 KB). The completed form should be forwarded to the Engineering Services Maintenance Team Leader Allan Green.

When requesting structural alterations, your form must be accompanied with:

• All relevant sketched plans
• A detailed justification for the required changes and all furniture/floor and window covering requirements.
